Gears in Ride a Pet
Looking for gears in Ride a Pet? Radars help you find eggs by tracking a specific rarity. This guide covers six radars, from the $50 Advanced Radar for Rare Eggs to the $30M Eternal Radar for Ethereal Eggs.
You can buy radars at Rick’s Shop, then equip and activate one to follow its directional arrow. The shop also offers an auto-buy option, which is useful when rare stock sells out within seconds of a refresh.
Radar prices and the eggs they track
Choose a radar based on the egg rarity you want to find. Each radar below has its own listed target tier.
| Radar | Target egg rarity | Purchase price |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Radar | Rare | $50 |
| Jewel Radar | Epic | $3,000 |
| Royal Radar | Legendary | $20,000 |
| Magic Radar | Mythic | $300,000 |
| Angelic Radar | Divine | $7M |
| Eternal Radar | Ethereal | $30M |
M means million: the Angelic Radar costs $7,000,000, while the Eternal Radar costs $30,000,000.
For a comparison of egg names, Luck values, and rarities, see all eggs in Ride a Pet. The highest tier is written as Ethereal in this radar list and Etheral in the egg list.
Where to buy gears in Ride a Pet
Visit Rick’s Shop to purchase a radar:
- Open the shop and find the radar you want.
- Check its price and the egg rarity it tracks.
- Buy it when stock is available and you have enough money.
- If you want it purchased on a restock, tick its auto-buy checkbox in the shop.
For example, choose Magic Radar when looking for Mythic Eggs, or Angelic Radar when your target is Divine Eggs.
Use auto-buy before the next stock refresh
Rare shop items can sell out within seconds of restocking. Manually waiting for the refresh and then clicking Buy can leave very little time to complete a purchase.
Tick the auto-buy option for the item you want so the game can purchase it as soon as its stock refreshes. Set this up before the restock instead of trying to enable it after the item becomes available.
Before waiting for a refresh:
- Confirm the selected item. Make sure auto-buy is enabled for the radar you intend to purchase.
- Check the price. Keep enough money available for that radar.
- Plan for your next rebirth. Rebirths in Ride a Pet reset your current money, so check your balance again if you rebirth before buying.
Auto-buy helps you act quickly at restock; it does not make an out-of-stock item available before the shop refreshes.
